A Lullaby
For Children as they Drift to Sleep
Listen children, go to sleep,
Silence now, whilst willows weep.
O’ do not run away or whine
Or else the Crow shall steal your spine.
Settle now, O’ don’t you squeal,
Whilst catbirds croon and clockbells peal.
Rest your head to dream and doze
Or else the Snakes shall break your toes.
O’ little children close your eyes,
Whilst stars traverse the sparkling skies,
For if you’re bad, the Goose shall come
And replace your organs with dried gum.
Alas, the moon has risen now,
The fairies laugh and boil the cows,
But I‘ll protect you all night long
Away from monsters till the dawn.

It was funny😂😂😂😂
This helped me sleep.
